Weekly Weigh In 2020: Week 9, March 2, 2020

Weekly Weigh In will go live every Monday, and it will share how I'm doing health-wise, and it will give me more accountability with my health.

Here is my ninth weigh in of 2020:

1. The Selfie: The selfie is me as of today, March 2, 2020.

2. Weight: My weight stayed the same.  I'll take it, though I hope to have a weight loss to share next week.  Wish me luck!

3. Health News: I averaged just over 8,000 steps per day last week.  I am hoping to get at least my 6,000 steps per day average this week, but that depends on if the weather cooperates or not (it's supposed to), so we'll see!  I'll at least do the best I can.

Migraines and insomnia are still hanging around, but my restless legs are still leaving me alone.  I have also dealt with what I think was food poisoning over the weekend, so that didn't help things.  I am feeling pretty good today, though, so here's hoping for a great week health-wise! :)

4. Diet News:  Diet was hit and miss this week, honestly.  I would have really good days and not so good days.  I did figure out, though, that I definitely am having some issues with coffee (I drink decaf or half caff on occasion, and I think the half caff is the main issue, especially as it was flavored, but it may be both types) and MSG (naturally occurring - i.e. yeast extract - included), and I think those are leading to migraine and severe upset stomach.  I also am wondering about chocolate being a migraine trigger/stomach upset cause for me, too.  I'm trying to avoid those things (the half caff and MSG in all forms, especially, but will limit the chocolate and decaf more, too) to see if that helps with the issues.  We'll see what happens.

5. Other News: Please continue to pray for my middle kid.  For 5 months now, he has been dealing with an unknown health issue.  He has basically made no real changes, and he has good (and I don't mean symptom-free, just more mild symptoms) days and bad days.  If you'd like a current update/rundown on his condition, you can click here.

As to our week, it's looking to be pretty busy school-wise, but otherwise nothing too crazy.  We have a fun weekend planned, weather permitting, too.  We're so glad it's spring (meteorologically speaking ;) )!

How are you doing?  Do you have anything you want to weigh in with?  Any health progress or goals you want to share?  If so, please leave a comment below (with a link to your post, if you have one and wish to leave it), and I'll respond ASAP.

Have a great week!
