Weekly Weigh In 2020: Week 10, March 9, 2020

Weekly Weigh In will go live every Monday, and it will share how I'm doing health-wise, and it will give me more accountability with my health.

Here is my tenth weigh in of 2020:

1. The Selfie: The selfie is me as of today, March 9, 2020.

2. Weight: My weight went down a pound.  Here's hoping the trend continues next week!

3. Health News: I averaged just over 7,200 steps per day last week.  I am hoping to get at least my 6,000 steps per day average this week, and will do so as long as I can be out and about.  The weather is supposed to be iffy, so we'll see.  I'll at least do the best that I can.

Migraines and insomnia are still bothering me here and there.  I think it has to do with several things: Time Change, taking care of sick/injured people in the house, and weather changes.  Now that everyone appears to be well or on the mend, I may be able to kick the migraines and insomnia to the curb soon!

Due to the illness in the house, we've been taking Zinc and Elderberry, and I can say they definitely seem to help.  I am going to add them to my med list and try to keep them on hand, for sure.

4. Diet News:  Diet was a bit better this week.  I'm really trying to re-focus on how I see food and work towards eating more natural foods (I was getting a bit too calorie conscious and was avoiding foods I know are good for me in lieu of foods that were lower in calories and not as good choice-wise for me).  I downloaded a new tracker app to help me with this, so here's hoping it helps!  So far, so good.

5. Other News: Please continue to pray for my middle kid.  For just over 5 months now, he has been dealing with an unknown health issue.  He has basically made no real changes, and he has good (and I don't mean symptom-free, just more mild symptoms) days and bad days.  If you'd like a current update/rundown on his condition, you can click here.

As to our week, it's looking to be pretty busy school-wise, but otherwise nothing too crazy.  As I mentioned before, we've had some illness in the house that appears to be gone (praying it stays away!), and my daughter got a buckle fracture in her wrist/arm last week (sledding in Northern Michigan are never boring) that will require another visit to the doctor's next week to make sure everything is healing properly and that we didn't miss anything else, but we're still hopeful for a fun weekend (weather permitting) if possible.  We shall see!

How are you doing?  Do you have anything you want to weigh in with?  Any health progress or goals you want to share?  If so, please leave a comment below (with a link to your post, if you have one and wish to leave it), and I'll respond ASAP.

Have a great week!
