- I've been seeing a lot about at-home IgG testing for food allergies/sensitivities, and I felt it necessary to share this information from American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology: The Myth Of IgG Food Panel Testing Please, before you do an at-home tests for food sensitivities or allergies, do your research! You are ALWAYS better off going to a board certified allergist who can help you get a reliable diagnosis and help you with any dietary changes and such.
- Ages and Stages of Food Allergy Management is a great article by Gina Clowes published on Allergic Living that every parent of a child with food allergies should read! It covers what to expect for each age level in regards to how much they should be aware of and be responsible for, and how much the parent should be responsible for. It is a great way to ensure that food allergic children grow up to be able to live in a world that is sometimes very allergy-unfriendly.

- Angel Service Dogs provides dogs that are known as Allergy Alert Dogs, and is absolutely amazing! (To find out more information about service dogs that help with everything from diabetes to blindness to allergies and beyond, Google "service dogs" or "allergy alert dogs" or "dogs for the blind", etc. There are some great services out there that fit a wide range of needs!)
- If you are looking for to find a restaurant in your area that offers allergy-friendly items, check out AllergyEats. This is not a guarentee, but it is a place to start! You can search for restaurants in your area by food allergen needs, so that's pretty awesome. They also give you a chance to rate restaurants, offer reviews by customers, tell you other helpful info (i.e. address, distance from you, phone number), etc. A great resource! :)
- Snack Safely is a great place to quickly check to see if your potential snack is safe or not for your allergens.|

- When Faith and Food Allergies Collide is a must read article by MI Gluten-free Gal! It echoes so much of what I believe personally. We'd all agree that the homes of food allergy/intolerant, diabetic, Celiac, etc. kids need to be safe. We'd also probably argue that schools of said kids also need to be safe. However, have we ever considered that churches and church activities also need to be safe for these kids? I think it's time we did...
